Today, we discussed the philosophy of life with different reflections. We have talked about virtues and vices. We have gone through evaluation systems, perceptions of reality and basic attitudes. In reality perceptions are substances that are images of God, of man, of society and of history. Examples of religions mentioned were Amish and Shinto. We even came in on more specific small questions like the dating of "minced meat". How would you react if the Manager at your job asked you notice about the "minced meat" with a false date? What would you do if you saw the Manager to do that? Yesterday, we went through the three classes and how they affect the individual's personal power, financial situation, health and longevity. Do humans have an instinct to help each other? What is a conscience? In Islam, it is considered that you are going to paradise if you give your life to save someone else. Wikipedia lists the seven virtues as follows: Humility - Humilitas (opposed to arrogance) Generosity - liberalitas (opposed to greed) Chastity - castitas (opposed to lust) Compassion - Humanitas (Contrary to Envy) Abstinence - Temperantia (unlike gluttony) Patience - patientia (opposed to anger) Diligence - Industrial (opposed to laziness)

Idag diskuterar vi livsåskådning med eftertanke. Vi har talat om dygder och laster. Vi har gått igenom värderingssystem, verklighetsuppfattningar och grundhållning. I verklighetsuppfattningar ingår ämnen som gudsbild, människosyn, samhällssyn och historiesyn. Bland exemplen på religioner omnämndes Amish och shintoismen. Vi kom även in på mer konkreta småfrågor som datummärkningen av köttfärs. Hur skulle du reagera om föreståndaren på ditt jobb bad dig att märka om köttfärsen med ett falskt datum? Vad skulle du göra om du såg föreståndaren att göra det? Igår gick vi igenom de tre klasserna och om hur de påverkar den enskildes personliga makt, ekonomiska situation, hälsa och livslängd. Har människan en instinkt att hjälpa varandra? Vad är ett samvete? Inom Islam anses det att du kommer till paradiset om du ger ditt liv för att rädda någon annan.
